Humanities Day is an annual event held on campus that features dozens of lectures, exhibits, and tours. Scholars from virtually every department in the division present work from their areas of expertise and interact with our larger community. This year’s keynote speaker will be professor James Chandler, AM’72, PhD’78, Barbara E. & Richard J. Franke Distinguished Service Professor and director of the Franke Institute for the Humanities. We hope you will join us for what is sure to be an intellectually stimulating day. For more details, please visit humanitiesday.uchicago.edu.
