Join alumnae in Western Massachusetts for a holiday season treat as we visit Big Wheel Press in Easthampton, MA. Printer Bill Muller will show us some of the ins and outs of letterpress printing and explain how he wound up running "the last Yiddish hot lead shop in the world”.

He'll have a Heidelberg 10x15 press, a Vandercook proof press, and a Chandler and Price treadle press up and running, and everyone can cast their names in lead on a Ludlow typecaster in either English or Hebrew and print a postcard on their Chandler and Price Pilot.

The building that houses Big Wheel Press is also home to many other artists and printing and bookbinding artisans, many of whom will have open studios that day.
